OK, if you’re a little more reserved than our enthusiast friend or need to “sell” a significant other on why they need this… having a see-through door also serves a practical purpose. It keeps children and unauthorized users away from the equipment while allowing you to monitor system components, like seeing if the A/V receiver or XBOX is turned on. The acrylic’s tinting also reduces the intensity of LEDs making them more subdued in dimly lit theater applications.
Reversible
Left swing or right? The good news is you don't have to worry about figuring that out just yet. Wait 'til you get the rack completed, set it in place, and then install it the way you want it.
Under Lock & Key
One of the main reasons to put a door on a rack is to keep out prying fingers. But usually those prying fingers understand how to open a door... Therefore, a lock and two keys are supplied to keep gear (and your settings) safe and sound.
Front or Back…?
Need one door or two? In most residential jobs, one door is enough to keep the gear safe and sound. In commercial applications, the need for a more enclosed unit may be necessary. Either way, we have you covered with a single door that fits the front and the back.
Easy to Install
If you’ve ever installed similar competitive doors you may have thought – “Sheesh, there should be an easier way!” Now there is. Our design allows the door to be installed with the rack in its final location using two simple brackets and a spring hinge. All necessary mounting hardware is included.
Removable Pane
For a truly custom look, the acrylic insert may be replaced with a panel of your choosing. Whether you’re substituting for a different color or inserting a sleek decorative piece, the original acrylic serves as a guide for sizing up custom panels.
