Meet the Strong™ SM-RACKSLIDE-300. Designed for the 12U, 16U and 21U Strong Racks, installing a rack into cabinetry or a wall just got easier. Strong enough to slide 300 lbs. smoothly, it rotates gracefully and locks securely at 0, 60, and 90 degrees. The best part yet, it installs with ease. If you're in need of an in-wall or in-cabinet sliding solution, we have the accessory that is Strong enough to handle the job.
Simple Installation
You already know the value of in-shop integration and on-site installation with Strong Racks. Incorporating a simplistic design approach to incorporate a sliding base was the most logical next step. Simply install the sliding base at the needed location, place completed rack on top and attach the side plates. It's just that simple.
Beefy Rails
Even though the main point of the railing system isn't to permanently hold the rack at an extended position, it's important that they look and feel Strong. Built with 16 gauge steel, the 4 slides are beefy enough to hold up to 300 lbs full extended. And with ball bearing glides, you can count on a nice, smooth ride.
Good Rotation
Sure sliding the rack out is easy, but then what? Since you need to get to the back to connect wires, check wires, possibly reposition equipment, etc, the base of the slide sits on an aluminum "lazy-susan" so you can easily spin the rack around.
Simple Service Locks
When you want to service the rack, we know no-one likes a floater. Built into the base are two self-locking features. One is a rotation lock for 0, 60 and 90 degrees from center stops to keep it stationary and not twist. The second is a glide lock to keep the rack from sliding back if you end up pushing on the front.
Clean Finish
Yes, you just stacked the rack onto a base. There is an unsightly line because of this. There is also the rotation lock and glide lock that can be seen. In order to clean this up and keep away prying hands from moving the rack, included is a convenient cover plate as the final piece to the install. Clean. Good looking. Simple.
