BASH® Amplifier Technology

At the heart of the ES-SUB-8-110 is a highly efficient BASH® amplifier . This hybrid technology produces 110W RMS (250W dynamic) of clean, tight bass and is up to 60% more efficient than conventional designs. In standby mode, the subwoofer will consume less than 0.5 watts, making it one of the “greenest” solutions available.

Woven Fiberglass Driver

The ES-SUB-8-110 features a custom 8" driver that is made of top-shelf components like a woven fiberglass sandwich cone, Nomex spider and high-temperature voicecoil. This rigid, lightweight design produces clean, punchy bass unmatched by the competition.

High and Low Level Inputs & Outputs

This subwoofer has the versatility to get the job done! For home theater installations, simply hook your receiver's subwoofer output to the LFE input and you're good to go. If your receiver only has speaker outputs, no problem! Just connect to the high-level inputs and then on to the speakers.

Crossover & Phase Controls

For an unbelievable music and movie experience, the subwoofer needs to be tuned to match the speakers and room. A rear-mounted crossover adjustment and phase switch enable you to optimize the system for the ultimate performance.

Front Volume Control

Instead of fumbling around behind the subwoofer to adjust the volume, wouldn't it be easier if the volume control was up front? Simply pop off the removable grill, adjust the volume to your liking, and you're done!

Signal Sensing Power-On

This Episode® subwoofer features a power-saving standby mode that automatically turns off the subwoofer after 15 minutes of inactivity. However, as soon as an audio signal is detected, this sub roars to life to add boom to your room. Now if you could just get the kids to turn off the lights when they leave!
