Problem Logging In
Most login issues are due to problems with cookie files.
This document explains how to clear the cookies for the following popular web browsers:
Internet Explorer 6.x - Windows
- Launch Internet Explorer.
- Click on Tools in the menu bar then click on Internet Options.
- Click Delete Cookies.
- Click OK.
Internet Explorer 7.x and Internet Explorer 8.x - Windows
- Launch Internet Explorer.
- Click on Tools in the menu bar then click on Internet Options.
- Click on the General tab then click the Delete... button.
- Click the Delete cookies button.
- Click the Yes button.
- Then click the Close button.
- Click OK.
Internet Explorer - Mac Classic OS
- Go to the Edit menu then select Preferences.
- Expand the Receiving Files option on the left.
- Click Cookies.
- In the box that displays all the cookies on the machine, select one, then press
Command-A to select all.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
Internet Explorer - Mac OS X
- Go to the Explorer menu then select Preferences.
- Expand the Receiving Files option on the left.
- Click Cookies.
- In the box that displays all the cookies on the machine, select one, then press
Command-A to select all.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
Netscape 7.x/Mozilla - Windows
- Launch Netscape.
- Click on the Tools menu.
- Select Cookie Manager then select Manage Stored Cookies.
- Click Remove All Cookies.
Netscape 7.x/Mozilla - Mac
- Launch Netscape.
- Click on the Tools menu.
- Select Cookie Manager then select Manage Stored Cookies.
- Click Remove All Cookies.
- Click OK.
Firefox 3.x - Windows
- Launch Firefox.
- Go to the Tools Menu and select Options.
- Click Privacy.
- Click the "Show Cookies" button then click the Remove All Cookies button.
Firefox 3.x - Mac
- Launch Firefox.
- Go to the Firefox Menu and select Preferences.
- Click Privacy.
- Click the "Show Cookies" button then click the Remove All Cookies button.
Safari 3.x
- Launch Safari
- Go to the Safari Menu and then select Preferences.
- Click Security.
- Click Show Cookies.
- Click Remove All.
