There’s a known incompatibility with the current version of the Binary™ B-200-1CAT-HDIR and some control systems.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS ONLY IMPACTS APPLICATIONS WHERE DEALERS WANT TO EXTEND THE IR SIGNAL FROM THE CONTROL SYSTEM VIA THE EXTENDER.

In those cases, dealers may have difficulty passing IR signals from some control systems through the B-200-1CAT-HDIR HDMI extender due to a voltage mismatch between the IR output on the control system and the IR Receiver input on the Binary™ HDMI extender.

A new version of the B-200-1CAT-HDIR will be released in early April 2012 with this incompatibility issue resolved.
