If you’re scratching your head, wondering what a "dealer" is, chances are you’re in the wrong place. SnapAV sells exclusively to Custom A/V Professionals. And that fact alone has a lot to do with who we are.

SnapAV is the vision of Jay Faison, himself a former Custom A/V professional and the owner of a custom integration business in Charlotte, NC. In 2005, Jay wasn’t happy with the crop of suppliers he had to choose from. He had an idea for a different kind of supplier, built from the ground up to serve businesses like his. So he started SnapAV

Business school folks would refer to us as a "vertically-integrated distributor". But we like to think of ourselves as a "Manudistribfacturation" company (no, it’s not a real word…but we’re working on it). At SnapAV, we don’t distribute someone else’s products (except for a few select lines, as a convenience to our dealers)…and we don’t manufacturer products and ship them to distributors to sell on our behalf. But that’s just one of the differences between us and the "other guys".
