We’ve combined the strength of Kevlar™ with the natural damping qualities of paper in a unique woofer material. A multi-step drying process during manufacturing enables these drivers to retain a natural, open cell structure that results in well-damped, neutral acoustic characteristics.
Most dome tweeters are spherical...so why isn’t this one? The oblong (catenary curve) shape of this tweeter produces more off-axis acoustic energy. It produces a wider, more engaging soundstage with an open, forward sound.
Our speaker designers have combined the low frequency responsiveness of a 6-1/2" or 8" NCS woofer with a 1" titanium catenary dome tweeter. Bringing it all together is a custom 2nd-order crossover network that ensures a precise performance each and every time.
With the ES-700T, you can quickly adjust the woofer and tweeter output by 3db to compensate for rooms with more or less sound absorbing materials.
A lot of tweeters can be aimed, but ours can be done with ease, even if you're on top of ladder, while talking to a client or answering your phone.
Our unique bezel design and oversized dog toggles keep the speaker firmly planted to the ceiling. It reduces unwanted resonances, plus you can be sure it's not going anywhere.

This Episode® product has a Lifetime Limited Warranty. This warranty includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty shall not apply to products which have been abused, modified or disassembled. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to Snap One or a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA).
