Michael Carlet
Chief Financial Officer
Mike joined SnapAV in 2014 after years with companies such as Sears Holdings and Driven Brands (Meineke, Maaco), and prior to that spent time in the public accounting world. Mike is very active in the local Charlotte community, serving on the boards of many organizations, including the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. He was also a recipient of the prestigious “40 under 40” award from the Charlotte Business Journal. Mike is responsible for the finance and accounting operations for SnapAV, ensuring its financial health and profitability as the company continues to grow at a rapid pace.
Adam Levy
President
Adam was part of the original SnapAV team that started the company back in 2005. He joined SnapAV founders Faison and Craze after tenures at Bank of America and Publicis Hawkeye. After several years of running the Sales and Marketing teams, he left the company briefly to pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities. He returned to SnapAV in late 2015 as President to head up the company’s store-front operations, responsible for managing all customer-facing teams and setting the overall company strategic goals for the custom residential channels.
G Paul Hess
Chief Product Officer
GPaul has been with SnapAV since 2010 after nearly 15 years in the custom integration industry, including tenure at Elan (CORE Brands) and prior to that as a custom installer himself. He originally managed SnapAV’s connected product lines and was promoted to CPO in 2014 to oversee the entire product organization. He’s now focused on managing our product development teams, from the quality and sourcing teams managing our factory partners in Asia, to our business units designing and managing SnapAV’s 2000+ products.
Eric Harper
VP, Product Marketing
Eric has spent the last 20+ years serving the Home AV industry, including product and marketing leadership roles at ELAN/Sunfire (CORE Brands), Integra (ONKYO) and as a custom integrator in the 1990s. He joined SnapAV in 2010 as co-head of Product Development and now leads the Product Marketing organization, with responsibility over product positioning, pricing and 3P distribution relationships across the company’s vertical markets.
Jeff Hindman
President, New Markets
Jeff joined SnapAV in 2016 as President of New Markets after eight years in sales and general management roles with NCR and Radiant Systems (which was acquired by NCR in 2011). Prior to joining Radiant, Jeff was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and a technology investment banker with JPMorgan.
Carlyle Taylor
EVP of Product Development
Carlyle joined SnapAV in 2016 supporting the Product Development, Quality and Sourcing teams after spending 40 years in the technology hardware and software industry. Prior to joining SnapAV, Carlyle ran a business consulting company. He was previously VP of NCR Corporation’s Retail and Hospitality product development organization after NCR acquired Radiant Systems. While at Radiant Systems, Carlyle was President of the Hardware Division and grew the hardware business from its infancy.
Wally Whinna
President, Allnet
Wally joined SnapAV in March of 2018 with the acquisition of Allnet and serves as its President. He comes to SnapAV with 40 years of experience in Consumer Electronics Sales, Brand Management and Marketing. Wally was one of the founders of AVAD and served as its Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing until March of 2010 when he departed to reform Allnet. In parallel with Allnet he was a partner in Tandem Marketing, a Nationally recognized Manufacturer’s Representative firm coving 10 states in the upper Midwest. He is a member of the Inaugural CE Pro Master Group and is a recipient of the Lutron RadioRA Lifetime Achievement Award.
Joe Topinka
Chief Information Officer
Joe joined SnapAV in 2014 with an extensive career leading IT organizations and driving meaningful business results in the process. Prior to Snap, he spent several years in executive roles at Red Wing Shoes and RSM McGladrey. He is a three-time recipient of the CIO of the Year Award in Minneapolis and twice in Charlotte. The author of several books, Joe is a frequent publisher of articles focused on the technology world, and is often a featured speaker at technology conferences and workshops around the country. Joe also serves as the board chair of the Business Relationship Management Institute, a not-for-profit, that focuses on development programs that advance the art and discipline of business relationship management worldwide. Joe and his teams are responsible for business technology solutions and operations for the company.
