This Episode® 700 Series Tower Speaker brings all of the best features that our 700 series line has to offer, in a beautiful tower design. High-gloss black finish and discrete, out-of-sight dual bottom ports make it an elegant tower that will blend with any home furnishings, and this full-range speaker is perfect for two-channel stereo setup or front left and right speakers in a home theater system. Supplied with both rubber feet and spikes for hardwood or carpeted concrete floor installations, you’ll appreciate the clarity and detail produced at a low volume level, and a wide, natural soundstage at the high end. NCS Woofer Material

We’ve combined the strength of Kevlar® with the natural damping qualities of paper in a unique woofer material. A multi-step drying process during manufacturing enables these drivers to retain a natural, open cell structure that results in well-damped, neutral acoustic characteristics. This speaker features two 6 1/2-inch versions of this driver, further enhancing low-frequency performance.

Bass Response

Like all speakers in the ES-700 series, this one utilizes a paper cone with Kevlar® woofer for quick, accurate bass. Low-frequency response is further enhanced with two precision-tuned tapered down firing ports. The net result of this work: Bass that has no right coming from such a small tower.

Catenary Dome Tweeter

Most dome tweeters are spherical, but oblong (catenary curve) shape of this tweeter produces more off-axis acoustic energy. The translation: a wider, more engaging soundstage with an open, forward sound.

Cabinet Construction

There’s no shortcut in creating a rock-solid cabinet; it takes heavy materials like the ¾” MDF used in this speaker as well as internal bracing. And a rock-solid cabinet doesn’t resonate and create unwanted distortion and coloration of the sound.

Furniture-Quality Finish

A multi-layer painting and clear-coat finish provide this dynamic speaker with a rich, glass-like finish. Available in black, and combined with the modern aesthetics of the cabinet design, these attractive speakers compliment any décor.

This Episode® product has a Lifetime Limited Warranty. This warranty includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty shall not apply to products which have been abused, modified or disassembled. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to Snap One or a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA).
