Ordering and Shipping

  • Orders for all products can be done via Snap One's website, over the phone, email, or by fax. Customers of Allnet, CPD, MRI and Volutone can also order Snap One products through those companies respectively
  • Snap One uses FedEx Ground for all shipments up to 550 lbs. and FedEx Freight for shipments above 550 lbs.
  • Some products must ship via FedEx Freight, regardless of weight – call Customer Service for more information.
  • Orders of more than $1000 qualify for free shipping (48 contiguous states only). These orders may be shipped via FedEx Ground or FedEx Freight at Snap One's discretion.
  • Snap One's warehouse ships Monday-Friday
  • Free shipping on orders of more than $1000 does not include express shipping services such as Overnight or 2nd Day.
  • Merchandise that is being picked up directly from a local warehouse can be picked up according to the hours listed here.
  • Warehouse pick-ups must be paid for in full before any product will be released.
  • Any merchandise returned to the warehouse must be accompanied by a Return Authorization number from a Snap One Sales Representative.

Dealer Registration, Payment Terms and Conditions

  • A company interested in becoming a registered dealer for Snap One must complete the simple application and verification process either through our website or phone screen with a Snap One Account Representative.
  • Credit terms can be discussed with an Account Representative at the time of registration and are based on either established credit reports or spending levels with Snap One. All terms are net 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Accounts more than 10 days past due will be placed on hold. Snap One reserves the right to send any account more than 30 days past due to a credit collections agency for payment or seek repayment though the litigation process. These accounts will be reported to the credit bureau and may be subject to additional legal and attorney fees.
  • Snap One reserves the right to cancel any account that is placed on hold twice in one calendar year.
  • Snap One does not allow for C.O.D accounts, but does accept all major credit cards and checks.
  • A fee of $35.00 will be charged for any insufficient funds check returned and the account will be placed on hold. Failure to rectify an insufficient funds check within 15 days of notice is subject up to 3 times the amount of the check (with a minimum damage charge of one hundred dollars and a maximum of $500.00).
  • Snap One will assess a 2% late fee per month on all late payments.

Product Returns (Return Merchandise Authorization - US Domestic/Non-Local Policy)

Sales Return Merchandise Authorizations (SRMA)

Authorized customers (Partners) may submit requests for Sales Return Merchandise Authorizations (SRMA) for non-discontinued 1P, inventoried 3P, or inventoried built-to-order products, submitted within 90 calendar days of the initial invoice date. Custom/Customized items are not eligible for an SRMA.

Partners have 30 calendar days to return the product after an SRMA case number is issued. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Partners may initiate an SRMA by reaching out to Partner Support.

Unauthorized returns will be shipped back to the Partner after an initial examination by the receiving Snap One team. If the receiving team is unable to find an SRMA for the product(s) in question the team will ship the product(s) back to the Partner with an accompanying document detailing the reason(s) for rejection.

Grounds for product(s) rejection include but are not limited to: product(s) are used or damaged; product(s) do not have a preexisting SRMA case number; or the 30 calendar day window for return has expired.

SRMA returns must be returned to the designated warehouse for specific product brands (e.g., the Triad warehouse or the closest Snap One warehouse if no warehouse is designated for the specific product(s)). Snap One is not responsible for returns that do not physically arrive at a designated warehouse. Partners are encouraged to retain proof of shipment to ensure proper credit is attributed to Partner’s account.

Defective Return Merchandise Authorization (DRMA)

Authorized customers (Partners) may submit requests for a Defective Return Merchandise Authorizations (DRMA) within the specific product’s warranty period.

If a DRMA case number is issued and Snap One does not want the product physically returned, a replacement will be provided at no cost to the Partner. Photographic evidence of field destroy is not required.

Advanced Replacement
In certain situations, Snap One may ship advanced product replacements. If a DRMA is issued and Snap One requires that the product(s) be physically returned, the Partner will be invoiced for and provided an advance replacement product and given 90 calendar days to return the defective product(s). All Advanced replacements will ship standard ground via FedEx, with an accompanying return shipping label and return instructions. The invoice for the advanced replacement will be removed off the Partner account upon receipt of the defective product. If the defective product is not returned within 90 calendar days, the Partner will be responsible for remitting payment for the advanced replacement invoice.

Built-to-order and custom or customized products eligible for DRMA will receive credit on Partner accounts and are ineligible for advanced replacement. In certain limited circumstances, DRMAs may be rectified via a credit issuance or refund.

Unauthorized returns will be shipped back to the Partner after an initial examination by the receiving Snap One team. If the receiving team is unable to find an DRMA for the product(s) in question the team will ship the product(s) back to the Partner with an accompanying document detailing the reason(s) for rejection.

Grounds for product(s) rejection include, but are not limited to: product(s) do not have a preexisting DRMA case number; the 90 calendar day window for return has expired; or product(s) does not match the product(s) in the DRMA case number.

Exception to DRMA Policy: SunBrite-branded TVs that are physically damaged upon delivery are not subject to this DRMA policy and must be inspected immediately upon delivery. Physical damage upon delivery must be noted on the accompanying FedEx delivery receipt. Damaged TVs must be returned within 48 hours of delivery (excluding weekends and holidays). Any damage must be photographed and retained for the return process. Failure to adhere to this process will forfeit Snap One’s standard return policy.

Internet Sales

To protect our dealers, Snap One strictly forbids any selling of its products on the Internet. This includes "Call for Best Price" or "Call to Order" tactics. Dealer partners are forbidden to use Snap One's part numbers or product images on any company websites without express consent from Snap One. Snap One reserves the right to terminate all dealer privileges if any dealer is found in violation of these policies.

Price Protection

Snap One may offer lower prices on various items on a promotional or permanent basis. Unless otherwise noted, we do not offer price protection on past orders if these changes occur.

Unilateral Pricing Policy (UPP)

Snap One has established and maintains a unilateral pricing policy for selected products. This policy has been established for the following reasons:

  1. to protect reseller margins so that pre- and post-sale services and infrastructure can be provided;
  2. support brand image by, among other things, avoiding its use as a loss leader; and
  3. to ensure appropriate price levels to facilitate technology development and new product introductions.

This policy establishes a minimum pricing level on selected products, outlines the penalties for violations, outlines the scope of the policy and outlines specifics of the product distribution system.

SunBriteTV Third Party Marketplace Reseller Policy

Effective October 24, 2016, Snap One has established a new Third Party Marketplace Reseller Policy for SunBriteTV branded products. This policy applies to all dealers and distributors and is subject to the following guidelines:

  1. SunBriteTV authorized resellers may not sell SunBriteTV-branded product through online third party marketplaces. This includes (but is not limited to) Amazon.com and ebay.com.
  2. Recertified/refurbished products may be sold on third party marketplaces, however this must be clearly stated in the advertisement. At all points in the promotional process, the terms “recertified” or “reconditioned unit” must be included with the model number and price.
  3. Intentional and/or repeated failure to abide by this policy will result in termination of dealership or distributorship. SunBriteTV is not required provide prior notice or issue warnings before taking action under this policy.

This policy has been established by Snap One and SunBriteTV to help better control brand messaging and product pricing. The terms of this Third Party Marketplace Reseller Policy are confidential and should not be disclosed to other parties.

International Snap One partners should refer to the terms and conditions of the applicable international channel sales agreement entered into with the applicable Snap One foreign contracting entity (e.g., Snap One Home Systems, LLC, Control4 APAC Pty Ltd., or Control4 EMEA, Ltd.), or a Snap One’s authorized distributor. In the event no agreement has been entered into, these Online Terms and Conditions shall apply.

Customer Ratings and Reviews Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your conduct associated with the Customer Ratings and Review service offered by Snap One (the "CRR Service"). To the extent of any conflict between Snap One's Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use, these Terms of Use shall control with respect to the CRR Service.

By submitting any content to Snap One, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property rights thereto;
  • All "moral rights" that you may have in such content have been voluntarily waived by you;
  • All content that you post is accurate;
  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • Use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity.

You further agree and warrant that you shall not submit any content:

For any content that you submit, you grant Snap One a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.

All content that you submit may be used at Snap One's sole discretion. Snap One reserves the right to change, condense or delete any content on Snap One's website that Snap One deems, in its sole discretion, to violate the content guidelines or any other provision of these Terms of Use. Snap One does not guarantee that you will have any recourse through Snap One to edit or delete any content you have submitted.
