In addition to featuring four high-quality 92mm levitation fans mounted using a special vibration damping system, it also has four front blowers that kick it up several notches for extreme cooling needs. It runs on DC voltage and comes with an adjustable power supply to accommodate many installation needs with different levels of cooling capabilities, making it a fantastic unit for cooling amplifiers and receivers in racks, or simply sitting directly on top of equipment in cabinet/closet installations.

Instead of passively allowing the component to cool, the four fans speed up the process by acting like a heat sink and pull the hot air away from the component which promotes longer lasting equipment. The addition of the four front blowers provide even more exhaust out of the front for greater cooling needs.
Each unit comes with a variable AC to DC voltage regulator. This means that you can switch the fan from 7 - 12V and control the speed of the fan for to the specific situation.
The maximum decibel level reached is around 28 db. Since the fan is provided with an adjustable power supply to increase or decrease the speed of the blowers, you are able to accommodate quiet situations when necessary or open full throttle when not.
With special high tensile rubber that acts as a damping system, you can adjust the direction of the fan to either pull air out or push air in - which allows you to pull air up and away if sitting on top or down and away if component is on top.
This unit is compatible with the TC-ALTv2, for when you want to let the temperature itself control the speed of the fan and use less power when possible.
Each unit comes with both high temperature-resistant feet and rack ears, allowing you to sit it directly on top of a piece of equipment or mount it directly to a rack. Either way, you are only utilizing a 1U space.

Cool Components™ offers a Lifetime Warranty on housings and enclosures, 3-Year warranty on fans, and 1-Year warranty on electronics. Products are warranted to be free from defects during this period when operated under normal circumstances and environments with routine maintenance and cleaning. Abuse, faulty cooling system design and installation, harsh environments, and other situations that would lead to premature failure are not covered under warranty. In the event of fan failure, replacement fans will be provided at no charge, and in the event the failure is not covered under warranty, replacement fans can be purchased to cost effectively repair the products. Defective housings and electronics should be returned to Cool Components™ Inc. after completing the RA process.
