The Atlona AT-WAVE-101 is a wireless presentation and collaboration platform designed for easy content sharing from iOS®, Android™, Mac®, Chromebook™, or Windows® devices. The WAVE-101 allows up to four presenters to share their content simultaneously on-screen, with an Instructor Mode available for managing additional presenters and selecting which to be displayed. Wireless BYOD interfacing is simply enabled through the device’s native casting protocol (such as AirPlay®, Google Cast™, or Miracast™), without the need to install an app. For hands-free, effortless user operation, Dynamic Layout Mode is an innovative feature of the WAVE-101 that automatically adapts the on-screen layout to a new incoming content source, or whenever a presenter disconnects from the system. The WAVE-101 is equipped with a host of other convenience features for integrators and end users, including programmable display control, a customizable welcome screen, storage and display of user-supplied static and video media, YouTube Live streaming, support for cloud-based digital signage applications, and much more.
The WAVE-101 interfaces with a presenter’s iOS, Android, Mac, Chromebook, or Windows device over Wi-Fi®, and allows screen mirroring from up to four devices without the need to install an app. It can serve as an integrated, dual band access point, or be networked into an existing Wi-Fi installation. The WAVE-101 can provide simultaneous Wi-Fi and Miracast™ (Wi-Fi Direct®). The WAVE-101 is a software-centric product that begins with simple wireless collaboration for multiple presenters. But its versatility expands well beyond BYOD content sharing, with a host of additional features to enhance education, corporate, and many other applications.
The WAVE-101 lets you cast your screen from an iOS, Android, Mac, Chromebook, or Windows device. There’s no setup necessary beforehand – just use the native AirPlay, Google Cast, or Miracast protocol built into your laptop, smartphone, or tablet. For security, the WAVE-101 can randomly generate PIN access codes.
For hands-free, effortless user operation, Dynamic Layout Mode is an innovative feature of the WAVE-101 that automatically adapts the on-screen layout to a new, incoming content source, or whenever a presenter disconnects from the system.
Designed for education applications, Instructor Mode allows moderation of sessions with multiple presenters. When activated, Instructor Mode automatically places each newly connected student device into a queue. Through a web portal, the instructor determines which students can share content with everyone.
The WAVE-101 lets your customers play stored images as well as videos (up to 4K), a great feature for instructors to share multimedia content with students. It can also play content available on YouTube.
Use YouTube live streaming to deliver live instruction and presentations to support remote participants. This capability is ideal for education and training applications, and also allows content to be delivered to overflow rooms.
The WAVE-101 can serve as a digital signage player, integrating with cloud-based platforms such as DAKboard. This enables simple deployment without the need for a complete digital signage system.
