The AT-UHD-SW-5000ED is a 5x1 switcher with two HDBaseT inputs, three HDMI inputs, mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs, balanced audio outputs, automatic input selection, and automatic display control capability. HDBaseT inputs match perfectly with Atlona’s HDVS-200-TX modules, enabling VGA and HDMI sources to be easily integrated into a system.

The AT-UHD-SW-5000ED is a 5x1 switcher with two HDBaseT inputs, three HDMI inputs, mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs, balanced audio outputs, automatic input selection, and automatic display control capability. HDBaseT inputs match perfectly with Atlona’s HDVS-200-TX modules, enabling VGA and HDMI sources to be easily integrated into a system. This switcher supports 4K@60 Hz, 4:2:0; (10.2 Gbps). It transmits AV signals along with Ethernet, power, and control over a single cable to displays up to 330 feet (100 meters.) Control options include automatic input selection, front-panel buttons, and compatibility with IR, RS-232, or TCP/IP-based control systems. Displays are automatically turned on and off using CEC, IP, or RS-232.

Important Note - Atlona does not guarantee the function of CEC with all televisions. We can confirm proper operation with many current Samsung, Panasonic, and Sony TVs. Many manufacturers do not support the CEC “off” command when sent from a source and older TVs use proprietary commands. Atlona only supports those TVs that follow CEC command structure from HDMI 1.2a and support the “off” command when issued by a source. We encourage any dealer to get a product evaluation prior to designing a system around this control technology or be prepared to use other control methods if CEC is not compatible with their installed displays.

Two Ethernet-Enabled HDBaseT Inputs

This switcher supports two HDVS-150 or HDVS-200 series transmitters, and can be placed at remote sources near lecterns, conference tables, and instructor’s desks to simplify integration. Installers can even eliminate power supplies when this switcher is used with PoE-powered transmitters. And because this switcher carries AV signals, control and power over a single HDMI cable, it’s more install-friendly than ever.

Mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT Outputs

Enable dual display environments with extended 330 feet (100 meter) distance displays, or utilize them with local displays for a convenient presentation tool. These mirrored input/output pairs eliminate the extra cost that’s associated with extra system components, simplifying installation. Additionally, the HDMI output can be used with an additional HDBaseT transmitter. This switcher is compatible with the AT-UHD-EX-100CE-RX receiver.

Automatic Display Control

The AT-UHD-SW-5000ED provides control to a display through TCP/IP, RS-232, or CEC*. CEC simplifies system design and integration while reducing costs without the need for a separate control system. With automatic display control, the SW-5000ED can trigger a display to power on automatically whenever a laptop or other device is connected, whether locally to the switcher or over HDBaseT. At the end of the presentation, when the presenter disconnects the laptop, the switcher forces the display to power off. Ease of presenter interaction with the system, and the savings incurred by automatic display shutdown provide a significant return on investment. Display control capability can also be triggered by an external control system. A power button on the front panel can be used for manual on/off control of either the switcher or the display. Front panel volume controls are also available to control the display’s internal audio, or another device with volume control, such as a DSP or another switcher.

Automatic Input Selection

Using hot-plug-detect and video detection, this switcher automatically selects the active input when sources are connected or if it senses a change in source power status. This ensures reliable auto-switching operation for all video sources, including DVRs, DisplayPort / Mini DisplayPort adapters, and other devices that always maintain the HPD line at the 5 volt “high” state but may not be delivering active video.

Ethernet-Enabled HDBaseT

Using Atlona AMS, use Ethernet-enablement to simplify your installation, or perform needed maintenance with IP controlled switcher, transmitters and receivers. Configure, backup, update, maintain and monitor your switch from a simple PC interface so product integration goes smoothly every time.

IR, RS-232 and Ethernet HDBaseT Insertion

This switcher adds internally-generated or externally-generated display control signals to an HDBaseT transmission. Simplifies display control from third-party control systems.
