The Elite SC-95 integrates Dolby’s groundbreaking surround technology and is compatible with 7.2.4ch*, 9.2.2ch*, 7.2.2ch and 5.2.4ch configurations for Dolby Atmos. It works by adding height to the sonic landscape, creating a true 3D, multi-dimensional space that puts you directly inside the experience. Optimized room calibration through the built-in MCACC Pro feature, in conjunction with Atmos-enabled speakers like the Elite Home Theater System or dedicated ceiling-mounted speakers, reproduces sound in smooth, curving, and realistic three-dimensional movement overhead by top-firing Atmos drivers. Dolby Atmos brings new life to traditional soundtracks and music, putting sounds into motion to deliver the full impact of the performance. *External amplifier required.
Extreme power with extreme efficiency are hallmarks of the Elite SC-95, thanks to Class D3 (Direct Energy HD) amplifiers that deliver power in a cool running, lightweight package—generating less heat and energy loss than traditional Class AB designs, while consuming a fraction of the power and with greater reliability. Pioneer’s Class D3 delivers full power across all nine channels simultaneously for a total of 810 watts (8 ohms, 1 kHz @ 1.0% THD). With a direct signal path and no EMI filters, feedback loops or current limiting, these amps can handle low-impedance speaker loads that challenge lesser receivers.

Pioneer’s exclusive iControlAV5 Android/IOS application lets you control the entire experience.
With Pioneer’s free app, you can use your iPod® touch, iPhone® or iPad® as a remote to control basic functions. The app is also compatible with Android! Enjoy smooth control with settings support for 8 languages (same setting as your device). It is freely available from the App Store or via Google Play. *Device needs to be connected to a home LAN network in a wireless LAN environment.
