AVPro Edge engineered the AC-MXNET-SW24E as a cost-effective, advanced network switch to efficiently manage the advantages of MXnet USP series Essential, Plus, and Pro endpoints. Stacking is supported with appropriate bandwidth allocation. In standalone MXnet 1G Evo I & Evo II systems, up to 23 endpoints plus the CBOX are supported by the AC-MXNET-SW24E PoE total power budget. Employing an OSI Layer 2.5 architecture that integrates advanced Layer 2 data link capabilities with select Layer 3 network functions such as optimized multicast routing, the AC-MXNET-SW24E is pre-configured for MXnet USP, 1G Evolution I & II, and Dante audio protocols and features VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritization, and IGMP snooping settings enabled for out-of-the-box plug-and-play deployment. AVPro Edge’s robust suite of proprietary Intelligent A/V Processing (IAVP) technologies correctly regulates multicast processor loads, ensuring high reliability for AV-over-IP traffic while delivering non-blocking Layer 3-equivalent performance at reduced cost compared to full Layer 3 switches. The AC-MXNET-SW24E simplifies deployment with PoE connectivity, four 1G SFP expansion ports for effortless scalability, and MXnet-optimized profiles that eliminate complex network setup.
