AVocation HDMI® Matrix Switcher with Analog and Digital Audio
These commercial-grade AVocation HDMI Matrix Switchers are like having four products in one. Available in 8x8 and 16x16 models, they support HDMI® video up to 1080p, plus feature independent analog and digital audio matrixes that can cleverly be routed separately from any source to any zone – perfect for bars or restaurants with tons of TVs. For their fourth trick, they offer a full preamp for the analog channels. This includes volume controls and balance and input gain adjustment to normalize levels from source to source. Finally, matrix switchers this powerful would not be complete without equally-capable control options, which come courtesy of IR, bi-directional RS-232, and an Ethernet port for system integration.
Breakaway Audio Routing
This matrix provides independent routing of up to 16 audio sources so you can route audio and video separately based on application needs. For example, in a bar or restaurant you may want the home team’s ball game on the house audio system and the main TV, but with video from different games on other TVs. Note: Digital and analog audio may be routed separately, however conversion from one format to the other is not supported. Digital formats up to 5.1 are supported.
HDMI® Switching (with 3D)
Get full 1080p HDMI® video switching from multiple sources to multiple displays with this AVocation product. Plus, this matrix offers full support of the HDMI® 3D specification, including Deep Color and HDCP 1.1 as well as support for Dolby® True HD, Dolby® Digital Plus, DTS™-HD Master and LPCM audio formats.
Integration Ready
To control the matrix itself, IR and bi-directional RS-232 are available. And if you’re using a more sophisticated controller there’s an Ethernet port for system integration (See the Support Tab for directions on where to download drivers). Buttons and LEDs on the front provide easy control and system status, perfect for many commercial applications.
Easy Mounting
A smart 2U/3U design features connectors on the back and LEDs and Control Buttons on the front, allowing this switcher to support a clean, convenient install. Plus it has rubber feet and mounting ears that make it easy to secure on a shelf or mount in a rack.
Built-In Preamp
Control each room’s volume right from the switcher – and prevent the need for a separate audio preamp. With input audio balance and output level control / attenuation you can tweak levels to achieve the perfect audio balance. Set the level of attenuation or gain in 0.5 dB steps for each input, eliminating relative volume differences when switching between sources.
Auto EDID
Thanks to auto EDID, this HDMI® matrix’s router can internally manage your EDIDs and HDCP keys, allowing for fast and reliable switch times. Say goodbye to complicated configuration and confusing DIP switches – this product makes syncing devices simple.

Affiliate Warranty Information
We want to make our Affiliate program as easy as possible. That is why we process all claims directly without any third party telephone tag. Specific warranty terms and details from the manufacturer are listed below.
AVocation Limited Warranty
AVocation Systems, Inc (“AVocation”) warrants to the initial retail purchaser of the products (the “Customer”) that the products manufactured by AVocation (“Products”) are free from defects in materials and workmanship in normal use as follows: (1) For a period of 10 Years from the date of delivery to the Customer on new Products installed (original equipment installation); or (2) In the event a Product is re-installed, the duration of the Limited Warranty shall be the shorter of a period of 5 Years from the date of the new installation or the remainder of the 10 year period described in (1) above. (3) In no event shall this Limited Warranty extend beyond the 10 Year period described in (1) above.
The limited warranty described herein does not apply to: (1) normal wear and tear; (2) damages caused by accidents, abuse, alteration, modification, misuse, neglect or improper care or maintenance; (3) damages or failures caused by repair or replacement using products not supplied, rebuilt, repaired or otherwise authorized by Avocation; (4) the cost of normal maintenance or replacement of parts which are not defective (these are the sole responsibility of the Customer); and (5) damages suffered as the result of fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, hurricane, or other casualty or act of God. This Limited Warranty is not transferable. All warranty claims must be made by Customer. This Limited Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of a defective Product at the sole discretion of the Customer.
