These Episode® Surge Rack Mount UPS with 8 outlets and surge/lightning protection products are packed with features that appeal to an AV Enthusiast. Whether you’re working on a home theater or whole-house system, they have the features most requested in the industry. We took a commercial rack-mount UPS product and revised it with essentials for an audio, video, and whole-house system integration installation. These uninterruptible power supply (UPS) products provide a pure sine wave waveform and full automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to prevent costly interruptions.

We took a commercial rack-mount UPS product and revised it with essentials for an audio, video, and whole-house system integration installation. These uninterruptible power supply (UPS) products provide a pure sine wave waveform and full automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to prevent costly interruptions.
Important Note - In order to handle 1600 watts and 2100 volts of current, this unit requires a NEMA 5-20P power receptacle and needs dedicated wiring by an electrician.
Protect Against Voltage Fluctuations with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Technology
Keep equipment operating safely with an automatic voltage regulated (AVR) UPS. The technology will prevent any voltage drops below 112 volts and will prevent any spikes or surges above 128 volts. This unit uses Boost/Buck Topology which increases voltage drops and decreases voltages peaks without needing to utilize the battery mode. This is important because having the AVR function without switching to battery mode extends battery life.
Four Critical Load Outlets
The unit has four outlets designed for critical components by preserving extra battery uptime during long power outages.
Mounting Flexibility
This unit is configured to be rack mountable and it comes with mounting stands for vertical/tower placement.
Large LCD Readout
The multifunction LCD readout provides ready access to power/battery condition vitals such as Runtime, Load, Temperature, and much more.
