We offer the PowerLink2 because it solves practical installation issues such as hiding power cables and saving costs, and provides a clean, professional way to hide power cables. It allows the equipment (i.e. televisions) to be protected by the same surge and power device that is protecting the AV equipment - no need for expensive in-wall surge protection equipment. And the dual outlet gives flexibility to power additional equipment such as baluns and DVD players, too.
