Introducing the MA4
The MA4 delivers the same sonic performance and streaming capabilities as the MA6, but in a more compact form factor ideal for smaller systems, selective zone coverage, or expansion of larger installations. With four amplified zones and one preamp output, the MA4 combines reference-grade audio, powerful onboard streaming, and robust integration into a single chassis.
Whether used as the backbone of a smaller system or as a building block in a distributed audio network, the MA4 gives installers the performance of our flagship MA6 in a streamlined configuration.

MA4 Streaming Amplifier
MA4 merges the M5 Pro preamp/DAC section with Hypex amplifier modules and Mean Well power supplies, delivering effortless headroom, low noise, and proven reliability. Boasting 120 watts per channel into an 8-ohm load, 180 watts per channel into a 4-ohm load, and up to 350 watts bridged per zone, the MA6 has the power to drive higher-end architectural or floorstanding speakers, subs or mono high-power zones. Its IP controllability makes it the perfect choice in a controlled environment, and onboard ESS Sabre DACs ensure clean and pure sonic performance in every room.
The MA4 is an 5-zone, IP controllable amplifier (four amplified zones and one pre-amp output) with two built-in Autonomic streamers, independent AirPlay 2 in every zone, and extensive zone linking capabilities. Use it as a stand-alone, IP controllable streaming amplifier, or pair it with additional MA6s, MA4s, M-6250s, or Autonomic Music Servers to create a complete whole-home audio solution, the Mirage Audio System.
Whole-home Amplification with eAudioCast™
Configure a complete, decentralized whole-home audio system that resides solely on the network. Proprietary eAudioCast technology allows network streams to be transmitted, received, and distributed across zones on each Autonomic amplifier. Integrate Autonomic amplifiers seamlessly with Mirage Media Servers to create a harmonious and modern audio system featuring all of the most popular streaming music services and richest digital music files.
High-resolution Audio with ESS Sabre DACs
Our whole streaming amplifier line supports proprietary Autonomic eAudioCast technology, enabling high-resolution audio (HRA), up to 24-bit/192kHz, over Ethernet. The MA4 features premium ESS Sabre DACs on every output, which allow source material to stay in its purest format until the final amplification stage, providing reference-quality distribution of content all over the home. Built-in per-zone DSP, including PEQ, high-pass, low-pass, shelving and notch filters, loudness, and crossovers, gives installers precise control to fine-tune each environment.
Independent AirPlay 2 Streaming
Each of the MA4’s five zones supports its own independent AirPlay 2 stream, separate from the two discrete onboard streams. This allows every room to accept a direct AirPlay 2 connection from iOS or macOS devices without interrupting playback in other zones.
Scalable to 96 Zones
Large installations are no problem for Autonomic amplifiers, which can be bridged using any combination of MA6, MA4, and M-6250 amplifiers, up to 96 zones. Zone groups can be created to link multiple zones by tying the source selection together across the group. Zone linking can optionally coordinate volume and the power state of linked zones. The MA4 can route audio signals from any of its two discrete streams into any of its five zone outputs under manual control, or with IP based automation systems.
Flexible Control Options
Autonomic amplifiers are fully IP addressable. Commands and feedback for power, source selection, volume, and muting controls are available for every zone, making integration with control systems quick, easy and effective. Standalone control options include the TuneBridge App for iOS and Android devices, and the Autonomic web interface. For installers, the MA6 also includes eight 12V trigger outputs, opto-isolated inputs, and a gold-plated ground lug for clean system bonding.
Optional Internal Storage
The MA4 can be configured with up to 1TB of internal NVMe SSD storage, allowing users to store and access high-resolution music libraries locally. Only one amplifier or server in an Autonomic Audio System requires storage—content is automatically shared across the entire networked system via eAudioCast.
This flexible architecture eliminates the need for redundant storage on every device, reducing cost and simplifying system design while providing fast, reliable local playback of your media collection.

Third-Party Partner Warranty
Autonomic products carry a manufacturer’s warranty from Autonomic. We want to make our Third-Party Partner program as easy as possible. That’s why we can assist in processing all third-party product warranty claims directly.
Autonomic offers a 2-Year Limited Warranty on its products. This warranty includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty shall not apply to products which have been abused, modified or disassembled. All implied warranties with respect to Products or parts sold by Supplier to Distributor, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, hereby are excluded, except to the extent that such disclaimers are held to be legally invalid. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to Autonomic or a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA). End-users should contact an authorized dealer who can work with us to obtain RA number in order to submit any warranty claim.
