Luma Surveillance 820 Series NVR - 64 Channels
The Luma 820 Series 64‑Channel NVR delivers exceptional performance, scalability, and reliability for demanding commercial surveillance installations. Designed for large-scale projects, it supports up to 64 networked IP cameras and offers crystal‑clear recording with support for camera resolutions up to 16MP.
Engineered for professional environments, this NVR features dual Ethernet ports for network redundancy and failover protection, along with four HDMI outputs support up to 4K, allowing for configuration of four independent displays for advanced monitoring setups.
To handle extensive storage requirements, the 820 Series includes eight SATA bays and supporting up to 24TB per drive. Flexible RAID support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, ensures optimal balance between performance, data redundancy, and system protection.
With robust bandwidth capacity and improved processing power, it easily manages high-resolution video streams from multiple high-performance cameras.
Additionally, built‑in OvrC support helps streamline installation and remote management, offering real-time notifications, simplified configuration, and remote firmware updates. Seamless Control4 integration further enhances automation and unified control within commercial environments.
Designed to support compliance with applicable NDAA procurement requirements, the Luma 820 Series is purpose-built for professional surveillance deployments requiring high channel counts, advanced redundancy, and enterprise-grade reliability.

Luma View gives your clients intuitive access to their surveillance system, offering push notifications, lightning-fast video playback, easy sharing and viewing of recordings, 16-channel synchronous playback, activity highlights with AI-filtered events, and more. Luma NVRs also support remote customer handoff via OvrC, allowing you to invite end users to the Luma View app and provide them with additional privacy once the job is complete.

High-Capacity HDD & RAID Support
The Luma 820 Series NVRs offer a larger chassis and flexible RAID support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, allowing for increased hard drive storage capacity, data redundancy, and flexible performance.
Support Up to 16MP Resolution
These NVRs feature improved processing power, allowing the use of higher resolution cameras up to 16MP. The NVR also features improved incoming and outgoing bandwidth up to 640 Mbps, helping with network congestion when using many high-resolution cameras.
Dual Network and 4 x HDMI Ports
Reduce network interruptions from outages or network failures with Dual Ethernet LAN ports. With two physical LAN ports, you can connect the NVR to a network switch and stay online even if a primary LAN port fails. Plus, there are four independent HDMI outputs that provide flexible monitoring for security operations.
Control System Integration
Luma NVRs integrate seamlessly into Control4® and other control systems. View live camera feeds, send events to your control system, have lights turn on if camera senses motion, and more for an enhanced automation experience. Refer to the support tab for additional details.
Free Multi-Site Management Software
The Luma View™ Video Management System (VMS) is free downloadable client software for local workstations to connect to large residential and commercial projects, especially those with multiple job sites utilizing Luma products. Luma View VMS is ideal for large multi-site surveillance projects utilizing Luma technology.
NDAA Compliant & ONVIF Conformant
All Luma X20 family surveillance solutions are designed to support NDAA compliance. Luma NVRs are ONVIF-conformant, providing you with greater choice and flexibility when designing or updating systems. They also support recording from the Control4 Chime video doorbell and DS2 intercom.
