Paired with the Control4 Z-Wave Module and USB Dongle, the EA Series controllers are now Z-Wave Plus™ certified and designed to augment Control4 lighting, comfort, and security solutions with supported Z-Wave devices.
IMPORTANT NOTE: - The C4-ZWU is compatible with the CA-1 v2 Controller is compatible with the EA5, EA3 and EA1 Controllers.
IMPORTANT NOTE: - The C4-ZWU is not supported by the CORE Series Controllers.
IMPORTANT NOTE: - C4-ZWU does not support Zwave Common Drivers (light, sensor, relay), and instead requires the use of model-specific drivers
Control4® Z-Wave Module - Region U (US)
The Control4 Z-Wave Module can be inserted directly into the CA-1 Controller (C4-CA1-v2) to add Z-Wave Plus™ functionality to augment Control4 lighting, comfort, and security solutions with supported Z-Wave devices. Native Z-Wave support includes water sensors, in-wall power outlets, door and window sensors, and shade control. For a list of supported Z-Wave products, please visit ctrl4.co/z-wave. Available drivers for supported Z-Wave products are available in the Online Driver Database.
The USB to ZWave Dongle (C4-ZWUSB) - sold separately - plugs into the USB port of an EA controller and allows the dealer the flexibility to mount the Z-Wave USB Module in an ideal location to optimize Z-Wave RF performance.
The Z-Wave Module is available in three models to support regions throughout the world:
- Region U (US)
- Region E (Europe)
- Region H (Asia)
