Perfectly suited for paging and background music, this 70V speaker makes drop-ceiling installations a breeze, eliminating the need to cut a hole and install a tile bridge. Featuring an easy-to-use rotary tap setting switch, a 6-1/2” polypropylene driver, 1” tweeter, and built-in security loops, this speaker has everything you need for your next commercial application.
Fast Installation
A 2-ft. by 2-ft. footprint is a perfect fit for drop-ceiling installs. There’s no cutting required and no mess. Just run your wires, make your connections, and insert this speaker in place of the tile – it’s that easy! We even include five pre-built tie-off points for securing it to the ceiling grid.
Standard Tap Settings
A rotary tap switch features settings of 1.25W, 2.5W, 5W, 10W, and 20W to adjust the speaker’s output level to perfectly meet your application’s requirements. And if you’re not doing a 70V system, you can use the included 8-ohm bypass to complete your standard wiring.
Conduit Compatible
This speaker is also compatible for above-ceiling installs where conduit is required. Just use the adjustable 3/8” conduit connector for fast and easy connections.
Lighter Design
This speaker features a rigid foam backing and metal sheathing back box that makes it much lighter and easier to manage, and it has small perforations on the front to create a more attractive look and feel.
Two-Way Design
A two-way design delivers better sound quality than a single full-range driver, making these speakers a step up from similar models. The 6.5” Polypropylene driver and 1” Mylar tweeter deliver smooth, high-frequency performance and clear, detailed bass.
UL Listed/Plenum Rated
This model is UL Listed and complies with UL-1480 and UL-2043 standards. It is safe for use above the ceiling, in air-handling and plenum applications.
