Universal Acclaim
The EE-IR-RCVR-SURFACE works with virtually all A/V components and remote controls - yes even AT&T Uverse! This is thanks to wideband IR capability (25-90kHz) and support of RCMM compressed codes.
IR Filtering Technology
In addition to blocking common interference from plasma and LCD displays, it is also resistant to sunlight, Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL), Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI), and Electrostatic Interference (ESI). Best of all, it has the "smarts" to do all this without impacting reception and performance.
Going The Distance
This Episode IR receiver features dual diodes for long-range reception up to 40 feet and off-axis response up to 30 degrees in any direction. NOTE: IR distance is dependent on remote strength and ambient noise conditions.
