Research and Partner feedback shows that most customers want to manage their own subscriptions and stay enrolled longer when they do. This is why the next Control4 App update (expected January 2023) will allow customers to enroll in and manage their own 4Sight subscriptions within the app. Once the update is live, an email announcing this improved customer service experience will be sent to Control4 customers running OS 2.10.x/OS 3+.

Find Out MoreApple is enforcing the changes they made that prevent video previews before a call is answered (part of their privacy campaign), so we came up with a workaround. 'Answer Muted' is a new setting you will find in the Control4 App's Settings Page. When enabled, any Intercom Anywhere incoming call (whether Chime, door station, touchscreen, another Control4 App) that you answer will connect with your side muted, enabling you to access the camera to see who is calling. Hang up, unmute? Up to you! 'Answer Muted' allows you to intelligently, and stealthily, screen your calls.
More exciting than those two new features is that this update is the first in a planned series of powerful new features delivered on a more regular (and often) frequency. In fact, the planned roadmap is so exciting and so continuous that our Legal Department will ask everyone to accept an updated End User License Agreement that covers innovative new features and powerful new controls that are coming soon. We will provide additional information soon about the updated EULA that will pop-up inside the Control4 App later in July.
