The security relay is a simple accessory that significantly improves the security of the installation at minimum additional cost. It prevents intruders from unlocking low-power locks by applying a 12V battery to the cables connecting the intercom/reader to the lock. This device includes a 12V output for low-powered locks, and a RELAY out for high-powered locks. Due to their small size, the security relay and I/O module can be installed behind another module - they does not require a full module slot.

This accessory significantly improves the security of the installation at a minimum additional cost. It prevents doors from being opened by a burglar with a 12V battery.
Paired with DS2
Install the Security Relay between the DS2 intercom and door strike and pair it with the DS2. If an attempt is made to open the door, the relay will wait for a verification code from the intercom.
Two Types of Outputs
The Security Relay has an active 12V OUT connector allowing direct power of low consumption strikes and an electromagnetic relay (RELAY 1) for high-power locks.
