Determining the Number of Speakers

The first item of business it to get a better understanding of the number of satellite speakers you’ll need. One way to do this is a site survey – literally walking and measuring the perimeter of the space. For new construction, you can do the same with a blueprint that is accurately scaled.

Even coverage is the ultimate goal, and since more speakers help create more uniform coverage, we recommend placing speakers every 20 to 40 feet.
