Luma Surveillance™ 221 Series NVR - 16 Channels
The Luma 221 Series 16-Channel NVR delivers enhanced processing power and reliable, high-performance surveillance. It’s an excellent choice for smaller projects requiring an efficient 8-camera setup.
With support for up to 240W of PoE power and 192 Mbps of incoming and outgoing bandwidth, this NVR easily handles high-resolution video streams from high performance cameras, including those up to 16MP. It features two SATA bays and is available in multiple storage configurations: 0TB, 6TB, or 8TB, with expansion support of up to 18TB per drive.
A 4K HDMI output provides crisp, detailed live viewing across multiple camera feeds, ensuring you never miss critical moments.
Built-in OvrC support enables streamlined setup, remote management, real-time outage alerts, remote configuration, and easy firmware updates. These capabilities improve efficiency while ensuring long-term system performance and customer satisfaction.
The NVR also includes Control4 driver support, allowing seamless integration with smart home systems for enhanced automation and unified control.
Fully NDAA-compliant, the Luma 221 Series is well-suited for larger residential installations and small business environments where reliability, security, and regulatory compliance are essential.

OvrC enables you to deploy and configure an entire Luma system in a fraction of the time. Adjust event and image settings, set up recordings, enable AI-filtered events, and more‚ all from OvrC's intuitive interface. OvrC doesn't just help with setup, it also lets you remotely manage Luma systems from anywhere in the world.
Do More with the Luma View App
Luma View gives your clients intuitive access to their surveillance system, offering push notifications, lightning-fast video playback, easy sharing and viewing of recordings, 16-channel synchronous playback, activity highlights with AI-filtered events, and more. Luma NVRs also support remote customer handoff via OvrC, allowing you to invite end users to the Luma View app and provide them with additional privacy once the job is complete.

This NVR includes an internal power supply, allowing for faster and easier installations without the hassle of managing long cables and bulky power bricks.
Control System Integration

Free Multi-Site Management Software
The Luma View™ Video Management System (VMS) is free downloadable client software for local workstations to connect to large residential and commercial projects, especially those with multiple job sites utilizing Luma X20 products. Supporting full-resolution viewing for up to 256 cameras without the need for browser plug-ins, it enables users to watch live video, review playback, receive event alerts, and even create a custom map of all surveillance locations for instant access.
NDAA Compliant & ONVIF Conformant
We have you covered for any job that requires NDAA-compliant equipment. All Luma X20 family surveillance solutions are fully compliant with the NDAA.
Luma NVRs are fully ONVIF-compliant, providing you with greater choice and flexibility when designing or updating your systems. They also support recording from the Control4 Chime video doorbell and DS2 intercom.
Support Higher Resolution Cameras
These NVRs feature enhanced processing power, enabling the use of higher-resolution cameras up to 16MP. The NVR also features improved incoming and outgoing bandwidth of up to 196 Mbps, helping to alleviate network congestion when using multiple high-resolution cameras.
More Storage and More Power
Available in 0TB, 6TB, and 8TB configurations, this NVR features two hard drive bays, each supporting up to 18TB. This allows for ample storage capacity, making it ideal for projects that require extended video retention. With up to 240W of total PoE output and 15W per channel, it delivers ample power to support high-performance, power-hungry cameras with ease.
